Home Building Solution for adhoc changes - an example using windows

Whatever software you use to support your home building business there are always areas that can cause problems.  Often these problems can occur when an adhoc change is required.

For example the customer likes the house plan... but can you just add a window here, delete one from there.  You can do it, but sometimes it can be a challenge to ensure the other components are also updated.  Add a window then less bricks, changes to lintels, studs etc etc.

Well at radiant Think we have looked at these sorts of problems for our SAP Home Building solution, and can cater for most of these challenges.  I would like to say all, but I am sure there will always be something that is just that little bit different!

But our solution aims to provide a structured, yet flexible way to dynamically build the Bill of Materials from challenging customer requirements.
